Workspaces and team members

A workspace holds your configurations, your plan and your usage. Invite your team to a workspace to manage them together.

Everyone starts with a personal workspace. The plan, the monthly allowance and billing belong to the workspace, not to a person, so the whole team shares one subscription.

Inviting a member

  1. Open Settings in your dashboard and select Members.
  2. Enter their email and choose a role.
  3. Press Send invitation.

They get an email with a link to join. It works for people with or without a Botpoison account. The link works once and expires after 7 days. A workspace holds up to 50 members.

Pending invitations

Invitations nobody has accepted yet are listed under Pending invitations, with the days they have left. Press Resend to email a fresh link, or Revoke to take an invitation back. Either way, the old link stops working.

Roles

Every member is an admin, an editor or a viewer. Only an admin can invite another admin, and a workspace always keeps at least one admin.

A viewer sees everything except secret keys, and changes nothing. Give this role to someone who only needs to watch the traffic.

More workspaces

Pick New workspace in the workspace menu of your dashboard. Each workspace has its own configurations, members and plan, and starts on the free plan. Use the same menu to switch between them.

Leaving a workspace

Open Settings, select Members and press Leave workspace. You lose access to its configurations. The last admin cannot leave: make another member an admin first.

Deleting a workspace

Open Settings, select General and press Delete workspace, then type the workspace's name to confirm. Only an admin can delete a workspace.

Its configurations, their keys and their challenge history are deleted for everyone in it, and every member loses access. Sites still using its keys start rejecting submissions. This cannot be undone.

The workspace has to be on the free plan. On a paid plan, cancel it first under Plan & usage, then delete the workspace.
