# Workspaces and team members

A workspace holds your projects, your plan and your usage for every product. Invite your team to manage them together.

Everyone starts with a personal workspace. The plan, the allowance and billing belong to the workspace, not to a person, so the whole team shares one subscription.

## Inviting a member

- Open `Settings` in your dashboard and select `Members`.
- Enter their email and choose a role.
- Press `Send invitation`.

They get an email with a link to join, whether or not they have a Botpoison account. The link works once and expires after 7 days. A workspace holds up to 50 members.

## Pending invitations

Invitations nobody has accepted yet are listed under `Pending invitations`, with the days they have left. Press `Resend` to email a fresh link, or `Revoke` to take an invitation back. Either way, the old link stops working.

## Roles

Every member is an admin, an editor or a viewer. Only an admin can invite another admin, and a workspace always keeps at least one admin.

| | Admin | Editor | Viewer |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| See projects and usage | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Issue and reroll secret keys | Yes | Yes | No |
| Create, change and delete projects | Yes | Yes | No |
| Invite members, resend and revoke invitations | Yes | Yes | No |
| Change roles and remove members | Yes | No | No |
| Change the plan and billing | Yes | No | No |
| Rename the workspace | Yes | No | No |
| Delete the workspace | Yes | No | No |
| Leave the workspace | Yes | Yes | Yes |

A viewer sees everything except secret keys and changes nothing. Give this role to someone who only needs to watch the traffic.

## More workspaces

Pick `New workspace` in the workspace menu of your dashboard. Each workspace has its own projects, members and plan, and starts on the Free plan. Every Free workspace you create shares one Classify allowance. Use the same menu to switch between them.

## Leaving a workspace

Open `Settings`, select `Members` and press `Leave workspace`. You lose access to its projects. The last admin cannot leave: make another member an admin first.

## Deleting a workspace

Open `Settings`, select `General` and press `Delete workspace`, then type the workspace's name to confirm. Only an admin can delete a workspace.

Its projects, their keys and their history are deleted, and every member loses access. Sites and servers still using its keys start failing. This cannot be undone.

The workspace has to be on the Free plan. On a paid plan, cancel it first under `Plan & usage`, then delete the workspace.
